We are accepting donations to the Minikani Alumni Community which will be used to further our mission.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Minikani Alumni Community (MAC) is to maintain a connection with our summer homeland while also supporting traditions and current summer programming through acts of fellowship and service. Each year, we work to raise capital in order to assist in this mission. Alumni are able to give back through their participation with events, dedication of their time, and to give annually through donations which will help us realize our mission and expand our efforts. Your contributions will be dedicated to our mission in the following four ways:

Fund 1.  Campership Program

The MAC has been able to offer numerous camperships and support to deserving children each summer, hopefully continuing until they choose not to return or until they become a staff member. We take responsibility and pride in selecting, supporting, and monitoring each camper’s experience at Minikani.

Fund 2.  MAC Capital Campaign

As a Community, we hope to identify and assist in supporting Minikani to help them grow and improve. To this end, we will raise money for specific goals at camp, such as new buildings, programs, or other worthy efforts.

Fund 3.  Minikani’s Annual Campaign (Formerly Strong Kids)

The MAC is committed to supporting Minikani directly through their Annual Campaign.  Each year we will make a contribution to Minikani from our community.

Fund 4.  MAC Operating Expenses

As the MAC grows, we must continue to improve as an organization. Thus, a small portion of the contributions will be dedicated to infrastructure to improve our organization, such as maintaining our website, events, Newsletters, and other necessary functions of the MAC.

A Note about Your Donations

Typically 90% of any contribution is divided evenly into Funds 1, 2, and 3, (30% each) with 10% set aside for Fund 4.  However, when you make your contribution you can specify how the money will be used by us, for example 100% Camperships Program or 50% Capital Campaign and 50% Campership Program, etc. You can also email us any specific directions you want to accompany your donation at minikanistafflodge@gmail.com
