Minikani Around the World March 1-3

Please join us the first weekend in March to 1) Celebrate our connection to Minikani and 2) Re-connect with camp friends.  We need your help to sponsor an event in your area and to help get the word out to other alumni.

 Step 1:  Anyone can decide to hold an ‘event’ in their part of the world.  It could involve a meal, or just a get together.  Previous events have been potlucks, meeting at a local restaurant, getting together in someone’s home or party space and getting together at a local watering hole.  (See “Possible Events” below.)

Step 2:  We have created a Google Form (LINK) for you to use to register your event or to show your interest in attending an event in your area.  Complete the form and we’ll be able to share your info with other alumni. 

We also have a a Google Sheet (LINK) with all the current events that are planned so far.  Check it out. We've already got Minneapolis, Chicago, Park City, UT, Milwaukee, Denver, New Orleans, Seattle and Halifax, NS Canada. Where in the world do you live?

Step 3:  After the event, we’d love to have you tell us what you did and how it went.  Use Facebook if you want (with photos?) or email us a short summary at minikanistafflodge@gmail.com.

Possible Events:    It could be breakfast at a truck stop anytime of the day.  Maybe a ’bar hop’ with designated drivers. A movie night with camp-related movies.  How about an outdoor hike in a park or a campfire with s’mores. Actually, there’s almost no limit to what the event will look like.  For those who want to stay home and sit in front of their computer screens we’re planning to have a group digital meeting on Saturday evening for alumni anywhere in the world to share a memory about Minikani.

New This Year:  Can’t get to an event?  No one lives in your area?  Then how about joining us for a Google Meet video conference call on Saturday March 2^nd?  You’ll be able to come and go as you please. Stay as long as you like, but be prepared to share a memory of Minikani.
